🎯 Purpose

The meta directory serves as the “documentation about the documentation” - containing files that explain:

  1. How this knowledge base is organized - Directory structures, naming conventions, and organizational patterns
  2. Maintenance procedures - How to keep the documentation clean and well-organized
  3. Meta tools and queries - Obsidian-specific features like Dataview queries and MOCs
  4. Historical context - Records of major reorganizations and consolidations

📋 What Belongs Here

Files that should be in the meta directory:

  • ✅ Documentation about the knowledge base structure
  • ✅ Organizational guidelines and conventions
  • ✅ Maintenance procedures and checklists
  • ✅ Meta-analysis tools (Dataview queries, etc.)
  • ✅ Records of documentation changes/consolidations
  • ✅ Templates for creating new documentation

Files that should NOT be here:

  • ❌ Actual Claude Code documentation
  • ❌ Feature guides or tutorials
  • ❌ API references
  • ❌ Code examples or patterns
